Overview

Aqours is a fictional school idol group from the Japanese multimedia project 'Love Live! Sunshine!!', and it is also the name of the real-life nine-member female voice actress unit that performs the characters' voices. Formed in 2015, they are signed under the Lantis label. Aqours is beloved by fans worldwide for their diverse music and performances.

Career History

• 2015: Aqours was formed as part of the 'Love Live! Sunshine!!' project. They debuted on October 7th with their first single "君のこころは輝いてるかい?" (Is Your Heart Shining?), which achieved high rankings on the Oricon charts.
• 2016: This year marked a period of active promotions for Aqours. They released several singles like "恋になりたいAQUARIUM" and "青空Jumping Heart", coinciding with the airing of the 'Love Live! Sunshine!!' anime, thereby gaining significant popularity. They also started activities with mini-units such as CYaRon！, AZALEA, and Guilty Kiss.
• 2017: Aqours successfully held their first solo live concert, "ラブライブ!サンシャイン!! Aqours First LoveLive! ～Step! ZERO to ONE!!～". During this year, they released numerous songs, including their 3rd single "HAPPY PARTY TRAIN".
• 2018-2019: The group expanded their reach by hosting international performances and various fan meetings. Notably, in 2018, they appeared in a special segment of the 69th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen, enhancing their international recognition.
