Career History

Atarayo was formed in 2019 when members Marcy (まーしー) and Tanapai (たなぱい) heard a demo of "10月無口な君を忘れる" by Hitomi (ひとみ) and decided to create a band to complete the track. Bassist Takeo (たけお) later joined, officially starting their musical journey. In 2020, they produced a music video for "10月無口な君を忘れる," which gained substantial popularity, leading to a series of single and EP releases in the following year.

In 2021, Atarayo performed at Japan's largest live showcase festival 'MINAMI WHEEL' and appeared in various events, including the '5th Momoiro Song Battle.' In 2022, they released their first full album and embarked on their debut tour. They also started contributing to theme songs for TV dramas and films.

By 2023, Atarayo had their first overseas performance in Taiwan, which was well-received, leading to plans for an Asia tour in 2024. Notably, in 2025, they successfully held their first live concert in South Korea, further expanding their fanbase.
