ClariS is a Japanese female J-POP duo that debuted in 2010, currently consisting of members Clara, Karen, Elly, and Anna. They gained popularity primarily through anime theme songs, having started by uploading cover songs to Niconico in 2009. As of 2023, they have celebrated their 12th anniversary and amassed 486,554 followers on Spotify.

Career History

• 2009–2010: Began as 'Alice☆Clara', uploading various cover songs on Niconico. On October 20, 2010, they made their major debut with the single 'irony', which was used as the opening theme for the anime 'Oreimo'.

• 2011–2014: Released several singles such as 'コネクト' and 'ナイショの話', gaining significant popularity. During this period, they released their first album 'BIRTHDAY' and in 2014, original member Alice graduated and Karen joined as a new member.

• 2015–2019: Continued to release singles and albums including 'Hitorigoto' and 'PRIMALove'. They were known for performing while wearing masks to maintain anonymity.

• 2020–2024: Celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2020 with a special live performance where they revealed their faces for the first time. Released singles such as 'ALIVE' and 'アリシア/シグナル'. In 2024, Karen graduated, and new members Elly and Anna joined, marking a new beginning.
