RINZO

Overview

RINZO is a Japanese music producer, composer, arranger, track maker, keyboardist and DJ. Working mainly in J-pop and J-R&B, he releases singles under his own name while also writing and arranging songs for many other artists, and contributing music to commercials, video games and promotional films.

Career

Solo releases

RINZO released the singles "NIBIIRO" (May 30, 2021) and "Drift" (August 21, 2021). In 2023 he followed with "どうして (Acoustic Remix)" (March 21), "I can't stop loving you (Remix)" (April 1), "INFINITO VIBES" (August 19) and "Never Look Back" (November 18). "でも、愛たい。" arrived on September 18, 2024, and in 2025 he released "フラグメント" (June 9), "フラグメント (Acoustic Remix)" (August 1) and "デイドリーム" (August 28).

Collaborations with Toya Takase

RINZO generally co-writes and co-arranges with Toya Takase (高瀬統也) and serves as track maker on every song. Works include:

Songs for other artists

RINZO has composed and arranged for SuG, SEAMO, sleepyhead, OxT, Kis-My-Ft2, Yusuke, AI, Enako, Akari Kito, Sonar Pocket, Naoto Intiraymi, DJ KOO, Riko Azuna, Mirei Toyama, Mori Calliope and others. Examples include AI's "WE ARE ALIVE" (co-composition and co-arrangement, August 23, 2023) and Riko Azuna's "DAISY" (November 8, 2023) and "GRASSHOPPER" (October 26, 2025).

Recent activity

In July 2024 he arranged Mirei Toyama's "Negai Ano Koro no Kimi e feat. RINZO". On January 30, 2026 he arranged and mixed Ichika Nito's EP The Moon's Elbow, and he also worked on the Ichika Nito × Luke Holland EP Moonfall (sound production, mixing and mastering). SARUKANI's "WORLD RECORD (feat. Ichika Nito & RINZO)" is set for release on May 15, 2026.

Games and commercials

He composed and arranged "The Kingsroad" for Konami's music game GITADORA (July 15, 2020) and songs for the smartphone game Your Majesty (May 1, 2023). He has also contributed to commercials and promotional films for Alpen, Sakurazaka46 × Build Divide, Brother, Toyota, BMW, New Balance, Kao and Rohto Pharmaceutical.

Rooted in J-pop and J-R&B, RINZO's work is shaped by his background as a keyboardist and DJ, with a strong track-making focus. He often presents songs in multiple forms, such as acoustic remixes, and his arranging covers a wide range of genres including rock, hip-hop, idol pop, game music and commercial sound production.
